All American Boys

All of these children’s titles have either been challenged or outright banned. Last year alone in 2022, 1648 books were banned. Almost half were Young Adult. 41% targeted LGBTQIA+ content. 40% had a primary or secondary character of color. Book banning is fascist and harms marginalized groups of people. At the very least—this is embarrassing. At the worst?? It’s deadly.
